Betty Ward is a native Texan and highly involved in her community. The foundation of Betty’s success lies in her relentless work ethic, knowledge of residential design, strong negotiation skills, and her extensive network of friends and colleagues. Growing up in Austin, it was only natural to attend The University of Texas! Betty graduated in 1976 with a degree in Interior Design through the School of Architecture. Her love for buildings, homes, and structures has been a life-long interest. In 1993, she earned her elementary certification and put her creativity to work in the classroom. Betty could not stay away from the housing industry for long as she earned her real estate license in 2000. Upon retiring from teaching, she moved to the Hill Country and pursued her dream of real estate.
Betty’s community involvement has included Junior League, American Cancer Society, Young Life, Master Gardeners, and two terms as a Board of Alderman for the City Highland Haven. She has also served as a director for the Highland Lakes Assoc. of Realtors from 2014-2020, and was President in 2019. She has previously served as Secretary/Treasurer, and on the MLS committee. To better serve her clients, Betty has earned her Brokers License, is a graduate of the Texas Realtor’s Leadership Program, and Resort and Second Home Properties Specialist and Accredited Buyer’s Representative. Betty has a passion and motivation for helping her clients find the perfect place to call home! She serves her clients and community well!
